Church membership is a wonderful thing that unites local bodies of believers, thus making the church more effective. It is also a good way to fellowship with other Christians and surround yourself with the Word of God. The comfort and support that is brought about by membership is vital to the growth of a Christian. The Bible says that we should not forsake "the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but so much the more as you see the day approaching."
Considering membership, but want some more information about our church?
Check out the Connections Class
This class is led quarterly by one of our pastors, Dr. Bouler or Dr. Lovett. This class breaks down the structure and organization of our church, and gives a close look at what we believe. Here you will have an oppportunity to ask our pastor any questions you may have, and to find out our vision for the future. If you are thinking about membership, or would just like to get to know us a little better, this is a great opportunity. This class meets on Sunday mornings during Small Group Bible Study for four weeks.

How can I become a member of HPBC?
By Profession of Faith and Baptism
If you will trust in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in baptism by immersion, we welcome you into our fellowship.
By Letter
As one whose membership is in a Baptist church elsewhere, we will be pleased to welcome you into our church family should God direct you here. We will be happy to take care of the details involved in transferring your membership.
By Statement
In the event that church membership records are not available for a transfer of membership, or if you were once a Baptist church member but are presently a member of another denomination, we will welcome you as a member upon your statement of faith in Christ and your testimony of having been obedient in following our Lord in scriptural baptism.
